I'm having trouble with all these people who has their own ideas about ideal website creation. Just today, I talked to someone over the phone about creation of a website. Unfortunately, he's completely clueless. The first thing I ask for was a URL. He told me that he doesn't have one, but later on the conversation, he told me he'd already registered for a domain name, which is the same thing, of course. Then he'd ask me all kinds of questions about my computer, which has nothing to do with web site creation at all.
I don't know, but the circumstances are really suspicious. I don't think anybody can be that stupid, even if they try. I guess it doesn't matter that I can create a website in about a week, for less than $5,000. For about $1,500 you can have your own professionally set web server, complete with backups and other safety precautions. Of course, you can't run Windows NT, I meant, Windows 2000. $5,000-$8,000 if you want the same performance using Windows. I guess now he will have to settle for $15,000-$25,000 fee everybody else is charging these days.
