My dreams have become more and more impressive, lately. My dreams have always retain that "realistic" edge to it, allowing me to experience events otherwise unavailable, like learning how to ride a motorcycle.

Lately, though, it has expanded to way beyond simple sensation. It has become an extremely detailed tutorial.

My first dream of this type happened several days ago, where I dreamed I was opening a package for bamboo seeds. It comes with potting soil, seeds, and instruction book. The impressive thing about it is that the book is really well written, with very clear instructions, and even color plates. Pictures are bright and clear. I read the book cover to cover. I knew it was a dream because a lot of chapters got skipped, and otherwise unavailable. However, the amount of details is astounding, and accuracy is excellent, for a dream. I woke up late that day, but wise about bamboo planting. A subsequent check on the Internet confirms the accuracy of it, except one little detail, and that is the bamboo shoots.

My second dream is about turn-based platoon combat, but with unique interface. It very much has appearance of Virtua Cop, but with Time-Crisis look and feel. You have two team members, looking very much like Resident Evil-Code: Veronica X. It plays on PS2. One controller plays two people, and in real-time. Actually, the game is turn-based, but with a timer. Targeting is by enemy lock-on. It is a very fast-paced, exciting, timing based game, rather than all-out shooter. Tempo is similar to dance/rhythm games, but with targeting and shooting. Still, plenty of action means addictive game play. Later, after I wake up, I extended the design to include more than one player and two characters. Further research on the Internet turns up Project Eden. Spooky.

My third dream is army combat game, with tanks, planes, and other vehicles. Much like Command and Conquer series, but in full-3D with much more depth, like Wing Commander series. Several script based missions pepper the game. I don't like playing it, although with the right people, I guess it can be fun. Mountaneous terrain provide a lot of opportunity for hide-and-seek type of movement.
